Hey guys
Nice to hear what's going on with everyone. Oh no, DNMS, post-hol blues - I know the feeling... A few short days to ease into things will do you the world of good.
I just thought I'd send you a wee bit of an update about what's going on with me... I've been keeping up with the small things but also got a few big things happening at the min and feel like a bit of a fraudster posting about wanting to get out of debt when I'm actually taking more on...
Basically, we've been doing our sums in the Escocesa household and for an extra £400 a month OH and I can move from our 1-bed/300sq ft flat to a 3 bed/1100 sq ft house so we've decided to move!! :j
With OH's new job it's all doable (albeit scary!) and although we'll need to pay out LOADS for all the moving costs etc it'll be worth it when we're in a house that will not depress us like this place and mean we are not living on top of each other.
Cannot wait, although I am v nervous about it all going through etc. Eek.
Here's my small things:
- bought a top for work in charity shop - £4
- took brekkie to work
- borrowing car - £10 petrol this week
- checking freecycle
- survey - £3
- coins in the coin jar
- calls using included mobile mins - not house phone
- check for prices - double bed/mattress, washing machines
- check banking - payday on Friday with my overtime payment :T
Big love everyone :beer:0 -

Don't feel like a fraud, as long as you're keeping up with your payments it's not the end of the world! You have to create priorities & as long as you've thought long & hard about it, it's still what you want & it doesn't push you into a dangerous level of debt then I don't think anyone can hold it against you. For me personally it's 1 cheapish hol this year & our wedding next year, & then everything can be thrown at debt. We'll all get there to that DF status in our own time - I personally would be going mad if I had a 1 bed place with my OH & I'm marrying him next year, so good luck guys! x:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
