where flying out to bangkok next week can you still buy dutyfree at manchester and take it on the plane with you also is your hand luggaged checked again before you get on the plane thanks

yes,but i would think you are probably stopping to change planes in dubia/qatar/doha.if yes then buy cigs there,only £6.00.but beware if carrying more than 200 and stopped by customs arriving in bangkok you will be fined £50.00 for every 200 over the limit and this process will probably mean a trip to local police station in bangkok and 2-3 hours of your time.has been a purge since the opening of the new airport.but to be honest hardly ever seen anyone stopped in 14 visits.0

I know someone who was fined £750 and all his cigs confiscated and we have seen loads pulled in for checks i bangkok Thailand is now very anti smoking so beware0
