Can't sign up for TalkTalk + £60 Tesco gift card deal!!!!!

What's going on? Tried three times to sign up online via uSwitch for TalkTalk's £17.05 per month phone and internet bundle (with £60 Tesco gift card). Followed all the links from Martin's site, registered for the deal, followed the "special link", filled in all my details on the TalkTalk site and each time I got the message "We are experiencing technical difficulties and cannot process your requests, please call us on blah, blah, blah". Well, I called them on blah,blah, blah and because this wasn't online, they couldn't offer the £60 Tesco voucher. Is this a sharp move by TalkTalk, has the uSwitch offer been over subscribed? I'm a bit brassed off, and I only have until 20th September to sign up for this offer - that's why I'm up at this crazy hour trying to do so - still getting the same message through. "CATCH 22".

    I take that as a warning and not bother!!!

    Talk Talk are very poor and have a lot of complaints. Cheap but not cheerful.

    I left them and glad I did as they are a shower!!!
  • I did note a warning about customer service being poor. I'll reconsider and have a shop around for an alternative deal.

    Check to see who's avail @ your exchange if not done so AND any cash back deals (Quidco etc.)

    Click on the link, insert your post code and it will tell you who is @ your exchange so you can compare deals.
