                    Hi
If your an anime fan you may have noticed a site called AnimeUnited(dot-co-dot-uk)
because they have appeared on some price comparison websites for DVDs (against official vendors). However I would like to warn everyone that despite being a UK registered web address they are based abroad (outside the EU) but claim their goods are not subject to VAT
A bit of digging on their site revealed that they are in fact selling bootleg DVDs (some of them are copies of retail discs, some of them are homemade ones).
I had placed an order, but after noticing the above i placed a dispute in paypal saying i would be willing to drop it if they could prove the goods were actually legitimate - they instead opted to refund my money, and made no attempt to defend themselves.
so BEWARE the site looks like an official store and makes it sound as if these are legitimate retail discs but they are not.
