Hi
Have 2 pc's, 1 is used daily the other hardly but still has some files and programs that i use sometimes.
Can i get some form of splitter box to save me keep going under the table to unplug the cable from one to the other, to view what i want on the monitor.

Thanks

What you're looking for is a KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse) Switch. They come in different shapes and sizes from a splitter cable type device to boxes that can run multiples.

    Examples on Amazon.co.uk

You could also opt to go the Remote Desktop route which is cheaper (it's free) and built into Windows as standard for a while now. Setting it up can vary slightly between Operating Systems and versions.
  • Alternatively (and if your equipment supports it) you can connect one PC to your monitor via a VGA cable, and other via a DVI cable. This is possible only if your monitor has VGA and DVI inputs on it, and one of your PCs has a graphics card with DVI output.
