I am trying to watch Game of Thrones tv series shown on HBO earlier this year but its not out on dvd or available on lovefilm etc yet. But it is available to watch it seems on HBO GO but only to those living in America, is there any way round this?

No. It is because the way the website works is by finding where your internet is from. You can try you tube and try find it.0

Going through a proxy might be morally ambiguous, but that's illegal & not allowed here m80

Umm... using a proxy server is not illegal or morally ambiguous.0

It is for some ppl as your lying to the server saying your in the US when your not0

Is it not on Sky Player?
There are plenty of other ways to get the show, but none legal unfortunately.
A interesting loophole is that our internet traffic at work is routed through the US, so when we try to watch videos on the BBC website during our lunch, it won't let us. I'm pretty sure we'd be able to access US services though..0 -
Chill out and wait.
It is a good series, but one that needs to be seen in Full HD with 5.1 surround sound.
Plenty of other good series for you watch in the meantime.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
As mentioned above you can use a proxy server (which absolutely isn't illegal) although the speed can be very slow and make things unwatchable as all the traffic gets routed via a thrid party. I do this when I'm working away and want to watch iPlayer (sort of, I have a VPN set up on my computer at home).
Otherwise, you can download it from somewhere like TvTorrents.com . They have the full series 1.

People seem to believe that going through proxies/VPN is some sort of legal workaround.0
