Hi all,
I would be grateful for some advice. I have this printer and replaced the origina HP21 black cartridge with a Tesco/Currys own brand. The ink has ran out so in good moneysaving style used a JR refill to top up the black ink. There is an error 'Printer cartridges(s) Problem' which I cannot clear despite being on forums following how to reset the ink levels. I have unplugged the printer from the mains to try and clear to no avail. Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

You don't need to reset the ink counter on these cartridges, they will work fine but show empty, the chip in the cartridge is just a page counter, nothing else, never rely on the ink monitor, most of the time when it reads empty there is still loads of ink left, if you want to be a money saver run the carts until the print quality starts to fade. The problem you have may be down to a dud cartridge.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0
