Where to find iPod Classic Games?

I have a 120GB iPod Classic, and was looking to download some additional click wheel games in preparation for a long flight this Thursday.

I can't seem to find any on iTunes, they all seem to be for the iPhone / iPod Touch or iPad.

I'm using the latest iTunes 10.4.1.10 on Windows.

I now they previously had Sonic, Asphalt, Pac-Man, Tetris and various others.

I've pressed the drop down arrow on the App Store, but can't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

There used to be a category in the App Store called "iPod Click Wheel Games". You can see a screenshot in this article from earlier this year. The iPod Classic page on the Apple Store still mentions the ability to "purchase games such as Cake Mania", but when you search the App Store for Cake Mania none of the results look suitable for the iPod Classic. It looks like the category has been removed from the App Store, so I don't think you will be able to download any new games.

I think that Apple would like you to upgrade to an iPhone or iPod Touch.

I thought I was going mad about time they updated their website.

Funny you should mention upgrading. I actually upgraded to the Classic due to the lack of memory on the iPod Touch / iPhone. I owned a Touch previously but prefer carrying all my music collection around with me.

I'm using an iPad, and the link doesn't work for me, but that could just be because you can't see incompatible apps on the app store (eg I can't see iPad apps on the App Store on my iPhone).

Just tried this, launches iTunes which then goes on to report "Your request can not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK store"

Have you tried ringing Apple up to ask them how to get the games? 0845 number though iirc.
