I might give this one a try once my exams are over! I got 65 earlier on (thank you Google, hahaha), then gave up with one life to spare.0
-
Good grief - who has the time, energy or inclination to sit and answer almost 1,000 questions! Life is too short - even for JL vouchers lol0
-
I just got 37. One question appeared twice (not complaining about that, counts as a free point in my book!). One question came up with no answers to select and when I clicked Submit it showed that my answer was -PASS- and I lost a life. Another question was how many square feet in an acre; I answered 43,560 (which is correct, according to Wikipedia and Google) but Channel4 reckons the answer's 64,900.
I've got the day off work, though, so I'm going to have a few more goes and see how far I get.0 -

It just accepted 43,560 from me - I wonder if they're updating the answers if they're challenged.0 -
I answered 43, 560 and was told it was wrong about half an hour ago. Also got 3 questions relating to galvanising and zinc in the space of 5 questions.0

Just been thinking about the high score being 960. Now my math skills arent perfect but .... say it takes ~10seconds to answer each question .... WHO sits on their computer answering questions for 2.5 hours!! This is based on answers taking 10seconds each and there being no errors such as a question showing no answers (happened to me a few times). Nobody can answer 940 questions without having to look a few up on google which will make that 10 seconds per answer rise.
I sense trickery afoot, maybe someones been cheating?!
I dunno, well let Channel 4 decide.0 -
2.5 hours for £550 = £220 p/h, not bad if you ask me!0
-
Ye but it must have been longer than 2.5 hours becuase it cant have been an average of 10 seconds per answer taking into account the time taken for the page to load each time and research. Realisticly were talking ~5 - 7.5 hours to get a score like that.0
-
i smell something fishy, because even if your were googling the answer sometimes it only gives you so long to answer them, ive tried loads of times and not got past 40 and thats with googling lolIt`s getting to the point0
-
Even if it took 40 hours, £550 isn't a bad weeks wage. That's the way i'd look at it if I was a hardened quiz master!0
