My full mortgage offer was put in on the 13th December and my Homebuyers survey carried out a week later on the 20th - got my results back on the 23rd. That seemed quite quick to me, maybe as everyone was quiet over the festive period?!Total Debt as of January 2010: £61,234

You can normally expect it to be done within 28 days, although most are a lot quicker, if your surveyor was instructed on the 4th Jan, I'd wait until around the 18th to chase it up with your mortgage lender.£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450
