I'm having a strange problem with firefox and hope someone can help me.
I am unable to enter sites where I need to put in my username and password although when I use IE I have no issues. This has started recently and the only change I can think I made was to install clamwin antivirus.
I have a couple of add ons also but for some reason I cant even update them as they dont connect to the mozilla site.
Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Try running FF in Safe Mode.
Try migrating to a new profile folder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder
Try uninstalling FF and reinstalling, restarting machine each time.0
