Looking for hotels close to O2 Arena.

Need a hotel for one night stay close to London O2 Arena. Ideally I would like the hotel to be within easy reach of venue & transport to & from London Kings Cross train station.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Closest hotel to the O2 is the Holiday Inn Express on Bugsby Way.

    Thanks I'll check it out.

I don't know my way around London at all, so trying to keep things relatively simple :o

The O2 is one stop on the tube from Canary Wharf where there are hotels, restaurants, shops etc. We stayed at the Hilton which is excellent - rooms next weekend from £100 + vat

It's mid December I'll be going, so maybe I'll find a decent deal.

I just don't want to travel across London after the show, so a hotel close is a must really.

Also, last time I stayed in london, the hotel turned out to be horrible. So recommendations are required.

If you want a guaranteed standard then why not try one of the Premier Inns in London.

  • Would it be just as easy finding a hotel close to Kings Cross station & getting the tube to the venue & back?

If so, anyone recommed a hotel?

It is about a 30-35 minute journey on the tube involving one change from North Greenwich (station for 02) to Kings Cross station. I know that in recent years the high crime rate in the Kings Cross area has been reduced, but I personally think there are better areas to stay especially coming back late from an event in the O2.

You could have a look on the HI friends and family link in the post below and see if you can get a good price for your required date near Greenwich (Put Greenwich in as the search). You can look on tripadvisor for reviews on the hotels that come up to help inform your choice.
