For the record, unless there's an end date...never expire a facebook comp, likes are limitless and they can carry on after a break at any time or change the format slightly with the same prize or very similar like this one. FB comps are different to normal sites, very flexible for those running them and hard to pin down. This is one reason they should be seperate IMO , usually they are ended as far as the best odds ones are concerned before people even see them ...100 likes and low numbers like that hidden away on page 3 here won't get many MSE entries who aren't told via FB by those of us sharing, that's a shame especially for those who come home from work and always miss out.

Well not everyone can be pleased ,in the past I have had rude PM's about posting these type of comps separately so it is not easy to determine at the time the best way of going about it so as to please the majority:)

There should be a facebook/twitter section, simple as that. People like to squabble and stay as things are on here smetimes, but in this case it's blatently obvious that FB is providing a massive percentage of comps now, much more than last year at this time...and it's growing fast. As things change we need to go with it, postcard comps have a section, how much of a problem was that i wonder?
The main thing with FB is the time element, same with all social sites...and Google plus is starting to pick up now....if you don't see a comp quickly you won't be able to enter them at all a lot of the time, which makes nonsense of bothering to put them here t all. "Here's an expired comp you can't enter because the forum you use to tell you about them made it impossible for you to enter despite the best efforts of members sharing it" ...that's what is the reality.

i have been saying this since last year, any effort to even make a proper list of names so we can at least get contacts (vital on all of the networks esp twitter) is thrown in some loony long thread where no-one will ever see it, and luddites usually pop up to say "I don't do facebook"....well i do, i don't need mse for it either, we help each other on the networks and we win all the time....what I'd like is to see more msers winning but until things change here that's not going to happen much.

This time next year most of the best places on FB will be up and running well, whch means 2 very bad things for compers...less chance of winning due to them having 1000s of fans entering, and they won't have the need to run as many comps as now.
This is the golden age on there for comps...and a lot of people are missing it for want of a simple small thing like a sensible forum section.

I totally understand the points you make,I think it is down to personal preference as I for one would be totally against a seperate section(purely down to how I comp),whatever is done is not going to please everyone and maybe the old 'if it's not broke then don't fix it' may apply although i'm sure many would agree with you and think it is broke so how a solution can be found that would suit all is beyond me.
