profile/ photo retouching

Hi guys

I have been teaching digital manipulation for years and need some extra cash now.

I am thinking about offering a social media/ dating site profile photo retouching (in effect looking 10 years younger and removing eye bags and wrinkles)

Would you use such a service and how much would you pay (i'm thinking of just £10per photo)

Cheers
John

So you think it's a good idea to help people put misleading images of themselves on dating websites.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

You could try advertising a gig for it on fiverr , you would only get $5 (minus commission) , but this would provide answers to things like

Is there a call for it?
Are peoples profile photos which often come from mobile phones, of a high enough quality to be able to do much with?
How long it would take to edit an image to a standard thats saleable (in their eyes)
  • Whats fiverr?

There is a difference between these and retouched photos. Removing wrinkles is hardly "tidying up a little", it's deception.

What do you think foundation does, its like polyfiller. Used to fill in the cracks

What would you put up? A dating site is about putting yourself over in the best light, most need any advantage they can get. Once they get that first date then its upto them.

Send me a photo of you to show what i can do ;)

In your original post you claim "I am thinking about offering a social media/ dating site profile photo retouching (in effect looking 10 years younger and removing eye bags and wrinkles)". I don't think you've achieved that here

But I have helped remove blemishes, spots and make a nicer photo without misleading

Btw this photo is one of many, most do actually help some look younger
