What wheels?

  • I would pop to teh Kia dealers and ask them what they have out back... A lot of people find imperfections on the alloys, and get the whole set swapped out under warranty - the dealer will normally sell them for around £20 a set to the scrap man... I used to make some decent pocket money selling set with minor marks or bubbles on Ebay for £100 or more after trawling round all teh dealers and buying up popular sets for £20

    I want winter wheels :)

Thanks for that link wealdrom - it suggests 4x100 too

What difference does the offset make? Aparrently it has a 46 offset which not many other cars do?

Ha Ha, then simply get a set of wheels from the scrappy for the same car. Ally or steel? doesn't matter, the winter will eat them both.

Offset is critical, unless you are a nerd don't bother messing around with other options

    PS
It is dead simple to take off 1 of your wheels and measure the important dimensions.

Forget offset for now, this includes it.

Measure the od of the rim.
Count the no of nuts/studs, (idiot factor now accounted for)
Measure the pcd of the nuts/studs
    Measure the rim width
Put a sraight edge on the mounting flange and measure to the inner wheel rim edge.

    Find similar wheels.

Congrats on being my sort of nerd that likes to take full care of there car, :T:T:T:T
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
