Integrated or stand alone fridge??

  • irnbru I would def consider a 'damaged' one. But its as kittiwoz points out, it really has to be one designed to be covered or it is potentially dangerous - and integrated ones are not as readily available as seconds as free standing ones.

its all about getting good value for money, as far as I'm concerned!

I suppose it depends on the look you are going for and the value of the kitchen in relation to the house (I had a flat before and fitting integrated etc and going over board would not have added value). I have just bought a new kitchen and every thing is integrated (dish washer, fridge-freezer, washing machine, built in oven and built in microwave).

Why? I like the minimilist look. The doors are flat and dark, no wall cupboards and as I said all integrated. The existing kitchen needs entirely ripping out and I wanted to fit something I really liked.

Once you know the applicances you want you can shop around online. As for price? Like anything you can spend as much as you like or as little.
