Glueing Ceiling Rose - What Adhesive?

Hi All,
I've just bought a round ceiling rose which I want to affix to the ceiling above a light fitting.
I noticed that in the shop it was sold alongside special 'all purpose adhesive' to attach such fixtures, coving etc. I didn't buy the glue as I thought PVA would probably work just as well and it would be very wasteful for one small job, but I want to double check before I go ahead.
The ceiling rose is not the heavy plaster type but a lightweight foam so it only weighs a few ounces - is PVA suitable for this job?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

You would be as well to use a thin bead of gripfill or no nails or something similar.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Would that not be a bit overkill? If I ever want to remove it I dont want to damage the ceiling as it has been recently plastered so I want an adhesive that I can easily remove. Also as the weight is very small I thought I could get away with something less powerful than Liquid Nails or similar.
Thanks for your help.0 -
Depending on its size, I would use a couple of screws (Countersunk) and fill in the holes afterwards.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

No nails etc will create suction as you put it up so it will hold while its drying. PVA won't do this and you will have to hold it up somehow while it dries.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

If it's not heavy a few of those sticky pad thingys the sheds sell for mounting pictures on walls and removing them (and the sticky pad thingys) without leaving a mark. Can't remember what they're called !.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
