Suitcase dimensions on Virgin - can anyone please confirm....

Can anyone please confirm how I do the dimensions on my cases when flying with Virgin please. In the book it say they have to be a max 158cms dimentions but is this height + width + depth? And do you have to include the wheels in the height. Tried calling Virgin but they have gone home. Anyone got any idea??

When we flew via virgin we were told that the case (not including wheels ) had to be measured height, width and breadth and be under 158. Ours were 15cm over so we bought new cases. However on arrival at the airport people had huge cases - way bigger than on there site and not a question was asked!

i wouldnt worry too much as long as the weight is okay, you see people with massive cases at the check in line

virgin are very helpfull on the phone , dont be affraid to call them

Thanks for this help. I spoke to someone on Sunday who uses Virgin a lot for business and he told me the same thing. However, although they tell you 23kgs for economy, if you only have one case you can have up to 30kgs. Something else the brochure does not tell you. Although business he doesfly economy so he did know.

I bought new cases as well though - hey, who needs an excuse to have new matching luggage!!
