First direct switching bonus

hi all,
I have previously held a single account with first direct and received the switching bonus. I switched out (tied account for mortgage).
We would now like to switch back as a joint account (and get the regular saver), would we still be eligible for the switching bonus now applying as joint account holders?

No, you can only get the switching bonus once.0

Possibly if it is more than 6 years since you closed your account.I think....0

With regards to the switching bonus, does anyone know how many months you have to pay in the £1500 before you get the reward? Also does it have to be your salary or can it be a transfer in? and also does the regular saver count as the extra account that will stop you paying the £10 per month charge?
Thanks0 -
You have to pay £1500 in during one month then they will pay the bonus, they paid my a few days after I paid in £1500, and it doesn't have to be salary.0

The Regular Saver doesn't count for avoiding the monthly fee, but a Savings Account, or the Everyday E-saver do. You can open them for £1 and leave it there. Having a credit card counts as well, -even if you never use it.0
