Personal and Business eBay accounts sharing a Paypal Account?

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me out here.

I recently started selling on eBay and upgraded my personal account to a business account (It had good feedback so thought this was the best way).

I would like to start a new 'buying account' for myself, which I believe is allowed, but can I have my Paypal account linked to both or will I need a seperate Paypal account?

Actually I disagree with Oliver and since Oliver knws this stuff as well as I do I assume he read the question wrong.

You are not allowed more than one of each type of paypal account but each paypal account can have up to 8 email addresses linked. So open a new ebay account with new details and a new email, add that email address to your current premier paypal account and you will be fine for paying for your goods.

Very True!

I still have to manually seperate my sales anyway as I run a premier and a micro account and they are both linked to both my private and my business selling accounts. It's a real back of the envelope stuff and when I do my accounts my OH tend to go out for the day as he can't stand the tension with me throwing things around and muttering darkly about columns that won't add up.

Actually the things I will be purchasing are for my business (and not me personally)- Envelopes, stationary and some stock. The main reason I want to buy seperately is that there are a few things on my website that I purchase through eBay and send out, so I want to ensure what I have bought isn't in the feedback of my eBay business account, so it is OK for it to come out of my business Paypal Account.

Since selling on eBay, my g/f has been using her personal account and I just give her the cash - I should probably have my own buying account, but seldom buy through eBay for myself.
