What is the best debit card to use abroad?

Good Morning All,

What is the best debit card to use whilst on holiday?
I have the following accounts/cards.

Lloyds tsb classic account
Barclays bank account
Natwest select silver online debit card (blue)

If I needed to purchase anything whilst up in the air which debit cards are the airline likely to accept?

If you're in London I suggest opening a Metrobank account. Works wonders for me.

Any card on the Visa or Mastercard network that accepts offline transactions should be fine (i.e. NOT an Electron or Solo card, or a card marked as "Electronic only" or similar). If the numbers on the card are raised rather than just printed on, it should be OK.
