Anyone been to Miami recently?

I went there March 2010 and stayed at http://www.clayhotel.com/ I found the staff very helpful it's budget and not 5* with bell boys swimming pool etc but its clean close to everything and has aircon rooms havea fridge in them too, What more do you need?

Turns out upon my return a friend had stayed in same hotel a few years before!

I liked Miami, I spent a week there for the WMC, was a good week I felt save and made some good friends..... Didn't make it to Downtown though so wil have to go back....

I got back from Miami on Tuesday. We stayed at the Claridge hotel, about 20 blocks up from South Beach. It was nice and quiet, rooms were spacious and it is a block away from the beach. You can easily get the bus down to Lincoln Road for $2.

Keep your eye on any bills that come your way, while it is annoying that as much as 18% was added on in most cases, some had nothing.
