The machines are giving some out but much less than before. I was wondering if it was because I was doing bigger shops so my average spend per visit had risen with all of the ocean Spray, Cambells and This water etc - previously I always got £2 wys £20 on one card and then a bonus points one for a £40 spend on the other one every week.

So the tactic now is to try and spend smaller ammounts at a time, ideally just one or 2 items and ideally try to get it to a round £ figure. Try this for a few weeks to see what happens.

I also noticed that day the till spits come out has changed. I alwys used to try the cards on Sunday or Monday, this week nothing so I thought that I was not going to get any till spits this week. I did though get 3 till spits on Wednesday and then again on Thursday a very odd one came out - 200 nectar points wys £5 on the fish counter. I've only ever bought fish once a couple of weeks ago from the fish counter.

So if your till spits stop coming I think you have to drastically change your spending habits.

I also wonder if its worth buying something from a department you dont normally buy from. I am thinking of getting some value baby wipes and value baby bath to see what happens - see if I can get the fish counter effect

Good morning everyone

Preparing for my first big T's shopping trip, got my shopping list and coupons at the ready.

Will be trying to get some Shreddies, Colgate Plax, Kingsmill 50/50, Oats So Simple, Play doh and Ariel Stain Remover. Might even pick up a DTD if i'm lucky :-)
