Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Xmas Saver!
Also not valid in Tesco Express or Metro :(. My local Extra is a few extra miles out so cancels out the savings :(.

I checked with my local Metro store yesterday and apparently they do accept the price drop coupons (I queried it since they had the magazines in store).

Hi everyone, been to Morrisons this morning, got a £38 shop and paid £22. I did have a bit of a carry on though, since all the fraud with coupons going on, apparently they have a notice up on their staff board to check all coupons with supervisor as they have had someone using photocopies. SA came over and took the coupons away, I did stand for about 10 minutes, she came back and apologised for me waiting, I said not a problem, I understand you have to check cause of all the carry on lately, all coupons were fine to use. Just to mention for the Birds Eye Petit Pous peas coupon, the ones that are on offer for 74p are not the ones on the coupon, they are for normal Birds Eye peas, so I didn't use the coupon I had, are you sure you can use the coupon on these peas, as the Birds Eye Petit pous bag was £2.00.

MT, just to mention, called in Co-op after and they have the Flora Buttery on offer for £1.12 so only 12p with the Unilever coupon if anyone still has one.

    Happy couponing everyone!
  • Alot of coupons will work on other things but it is totally against the T&C's and it means they will crack down even harder if used against the wrong product..

    Hi everyone,

does anyone know the maximum number of coupons i can use in a single transaction at Mr T's?

I have a selection of MOCs, WYS and price checker coupons i want to use but can only fit in one shop this wkend.

    thanks in advance

I'd say do what you feel comfortable with - I've never had any problems but only use 1 or 2 per product per shop to avoid the embarrassment of being refused at the tills!!

So the ones which are running out soon I use first , then wait to use the later dated ones on a later shop...

It seems to work out fine :D:D

( Have had quite a few coupons go unused as they run OOD but tbh it doesn't bother me that much! LOL )

Am happy with what I do get!! x

a very sensible aproach which i also follow, yes as you i have a few that go OOD, but as i have said before little and often if you can

On a happy note for mr T I was in not my usual one but was passing so poped in for my paper and a few bits and also to pick up a QS with the £1 off, before i has chance to offer SA my voucher she asked me had i picked up the booklet with the £1 off the QS

we all moan about the trouts but good for her ( think we have called them goldfish in the past):)

I just don't think this is the right one with the coupon though and I am very cautious to make sure I pick the right thing with the coupons I use. The peas that were 74p were not the peas on the coupon, they were something else.

I picked up another soup today in MrT - the SA checked it and was very nice saying that she was checking that it was ok for a metro store - I said I was disappointed that I couldnt use the new discount vouchers there and she said they had been quieter and thought it was because people had gone to the big Express store for the discount coupons.

TBH i stuck to the terms of the coupons and bought the correct product, and i asked the SA first and she said that it was fine, just there was an issue with the till.

I don't think its correct to use a coupon on the wrong product, but how many you use surely depends on what the specific t&Cs say on each coupon?!
