  • The pilgrims choice one is huge. What do I do? Will it scan??!!! TIA XXX

I'm sure it's done on purpose so it uses lots of ink to deter people from printing hundreds of them.
  • Can I ask do you do the fit to scale or the fit multiple on page thing - im not good at this whole technology thing!! Couldnt even get the Campbells to work - dont know if I printed them too big or something???!!! xxx:)

    Hi all :j

Just popping in to say thank you to all who run this thread, I've saved money on the things I use & i'm very grateful for all the help - you do a great job:D

I usually have no problem at my local T's - an extra store - & went yesterday to use up the coupons I had which were all cond spend = one of Mr T's, a gift card & also the M's one from the paper at the weekend. I made sure I spent enough (£100+) to allow for the 2 coupons (£40 + £60) but was mindful of the fact that the M's was scanning @ only £3.

The SA was fine but did query the M's coupon with the supervisor - she came over & saidshe , yes it's fine. The SA put it through & it came up as £3......called the supervisor back over who said, well I've just been on to the cash office & we don't take newspaper coupons any more!! I then asked if they took the T's one, since it was also from a newspaper:rotfl:Anyhow, she said no cond spend coupons from other supermarkets printed in newspapers allowed!! The stupid thing was she OKd it at first, as the SA pointed out, if it had gone through at £10 first time there would have been no problem....

I wasn't pleased as I would never have spent £100 if I'd known, I just wanted to abide by the rules. Do I need to send an email to someone?? TIA if you can help.

    Hi
The Morrisons coupon has caused a few problems but I used one in Tesco and I told the SA it didn't scan properly before she scanned it. She scanned it and manually altered it to £10. I had spent over £60 to use it.

As Morrisons is clearly on the list of accepted conditional spend coupons at Tesco your store needs educating in Tesco store policy.

You will find the email address of Head office on page 1 of this thread. You need to state which tesco store you had problems in and they will probably send you a money card to make up for the mistake. Accepting conditional spend coupons is Tesco's national coupon policy so cannot be varied by store to store. You will receive a reply and I would recommend you print it off and keep it with your coupons for future use.

    Morning all.

Got my 1st Apetina yesterday from Sainsbury's - no problem at all.
Away for a few days, back late Saturday night - no laptop, but taking a few coupons with me and might try and get a few Sacla for sone, he loves the pesto's.

Happy couponing and enjoy the weather - don't spend all weekend being trouted. :D

Thanks very much CW for this - through reading this thread I was aware that the Morrisons £10 coupon scanned for £3, told SA this & it was only when she called the supervisor back over - presumably to override the Morrisons mistake - that the 'no cond spend coupons from newspapers' was trotted (or trouted:rotfl:) out.

Have sent an email as you suggested to customer services & had a stock reply, they are dealing with it & will be in touch shortly. Will LYK what happens, thank you again:T

Can I just check, do I use 3 coupons and buy 3 of the Pilgrim's cheese please to get best price? Of to Mr T later today to return a dress I had second thoughts about and need a couple of other bits that I forgot yesterday so thought I would get some of the cheese if they have it.

Yes thats the way, I would print out 3 origonals as the version with 3 on a page is not always going through and its a better experience when the coupons scan without any issues :D

Ya dont want them having time to think about it - that usually causes problems. :rotfl:

It would seem just about every member of staff in every Tesco needs educating :rotfl:Does make you wonder how the heck they train them when they start!
I was told the other day that 'head office just make up their own rules and it doesn't apply to the stores because they are seperate' !! Work that one out :rotfl:

Anyways, Im off to me some peas and fish fingers! Have a good day all :D

  • I don't think I have seen this mentioned but I just thought I would share that I have just filled in the online form on the Ariel website to get my money back on the Ariel Stain Remover.

I have used it on a couple of stains on my toddlers clothing and it hasn't removed it first time as the bottle claims.

The money back guarantee is valid until 31st October so those who may have tried it with the recent £2 MOC and still have the receipt can claim back if you also haven't found it effective.

This is the link to the page to claim - CLICK HERE
