    Hi all :j

Just popping in to say thank you to all who run this thread, I've saved money on the things I use & i'm very grateful for all the help - you do a great job:D

I usually have no problem at my local T's - an extra store - & went yesterday to use up the coupons I had which were all cond spend = one of Mr T's, a gift card & also the M's one from the paper at the weekend. I made sure I spent enough (£100+) to allow for the 2 coupons (£40 + £60) but was mindful of the fact that the M's was scanning @ only £3.

The SA was fine but did query the M's coupon with the supervisor - she came over & saidshe , yes it's fine. The SA put it through & it came up as £3......called the supervisor back over who said, well I've just been on to the cash office & we don't take newspaper coupons any more!! I then asked if they took the T's one, since it was also from a newspaper:rotfl:Anyhow, she said no cond spend coupons from other supermarkets printed in newspapers allowed!! The stupid thing was she OKd it at first, as the SA pointed out, if it had gone through at £10 first time there would have been no problem....

I wasn't pleased as I would never have spent £100 if I'd known, I just wanted to abide by the rules. Do I need to send an email to someone?? TIA if you can help.

Ah most people on here couldn't find it and seemed to think T's didn't stock it. I couldn't find it in my Extra. Actually just looked on Tesco website and it says "new" - as if!! So looks like it might be starting to appear!

My local Metro only stocks Chicken.
Thank god the Shreddies Gate finished Yesterday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

does anyone know if comfort is still 2 for £2 in asda? It doesnt seem to be on mysupermarket :-(

It was last night but SEL removed so I'm guessing not.

Bit of a lastmin.com but if anyone is out with Aquafresh coupons tomorrow, S*vers has them for £1. No longer 98p in Wilko though.

Thanks for your hard work on the list MT :A

  • Hi not sure if anyone can help
went to enter some ocean spray codes tonight (i'd been keeping them to enter all at once), 1st one was ok and printed the voucher, however after the 2nd code it wouldnt let me print the voucher and said I had reached my limit - why is this? Does that mean i've lost the coupon now?>

Try another code, sounds like you entered the same one 3 times. I found that you can enter each code twice and print two coupons.
  • The only time I have had a problem with coupons was at Mr S when I spent over £60 to use one of their money off till splits and presented 10 coupons worth about £10 all for goods I had bought. Then its the ooohhss and ahhhss. Whereas if I go in and buy say 5 products and produce 2 coupons they dont batter an eyelid. Whether its because they dont want to write on every coupon their till number, time and log on details or its because they are jealous at the amount of money you are saving.

I know there has been heated discussions on the topic but if someone walks in and pays for 100 packs of Shreddies with 100 coupons then the store is more likely to adapt their own rules instead of the national store policy and that impacts everybody else. Multiple facebook accounts, many diff email addresses etc are creating greed. Just by entering coupons in Ebay you get results like "6 x Sacla sauces £1 off" etc.

The Apetina cheese cubes seem to have been the best use so far.... once a print limit was reached nationally they pulled it.
  • The pilgrims choice one is huge. What do I do? Will it scan??!!! TIA XXX
