All samsung TFT PC monitors come with 3yr warranty
  • I have an Advent 19" Widescreen monitor that I use for my XBOX360. The Advent screens do not have a scart connection, only the standard ariel connection. The TV picture is okay, not great but not bad. Great screen resolution options for a PC though and an amazing way to get HD for a games console. I paid £160 for my Advent from PCWorld.

  • Hi there,

Been trying to find a cheapish 17" LCD for the bedroom where the stand can be completely removed so that it looks nice and clean when mounted on the wall bracket. We bought a ViewSonic but only half the stand would come off. Went back to Currys, but they couldnt find one where the whole stand came off. Any help appreciated!

    Cheers

  • I just wish LCD TV manafacturer's of small TVs would 'get with the programme'....all those TVs listed above only have an analogue tuner - for goodness sake it's 2007, analogue is on it's way out & digital TV gives more choice of programming...a 15" LCD TV with Freeview PLEASE! (15-17" Freeview LCD TVs do exist but cost almost as much as 32" TVs!)

Agreed Hank, Analogue switch off has already been delayed a couple of times but will still happen.
North West first, Borders, then Granada. So if you live there, then if you must have one, then I would get the one that can be used as a monitor, cos the tuner will be useless shortly.

Dont forget you can easily add a freeview box via scart to the Samungs

Sure, but then you have to buy another box (more unsightly cables, electric sockets used etc) & have TWO remote controls etc. Remember, LCD TVs are meant win you space/tidiness! Nope, a seperate freeview box is not for me.....total integration is where it's at!
