Can the Advent one be used a normal TV?

It says it has a got a TV tuner built in so I assume it will have a standard RF aerial socket in the back. But will the picture be any good.
If it can be used as a stand alone LCD TV than it seems to be very cheap compared to everything else out there.

Do you know if the 17" Advent has a Scart input? I've searched the 'net and can't find any detailed specs.

I have just called their office and they had no 17" Advent monitor out but looked at the 19" and that does not have scart socket. I guess this is also the case with the Samsung models cos again no mention on the details.

Be careful with Advent brand of any electrical stuff (pc-laptops-Monitors etc..)
Very difficult to find/get any drivers or help.
It's under Dixon's own brand (for PCWorld - Dixons - Currys)
Once your warranty run out. You might as well get a new one.

Is a better option at £249 with 700:1 contrast ratio - and a 3yr warranty!
