Do you have any cotton buds and nail varnish remover? I would attempt a small patch test (cotton bud dipped in varnish remover) on a part of the garment that doesn't show.........if that's ok, tackle the ink mark.......with the cotton bud dipped in varnish remover. Then wash the garment in Ariel bio powder as per the wash care label.

I don't know about material but if you put permanent marker onto a whiteboard by mistake, if you write over it with a whiteboard (waterbased) marker you are able to remove it. It may work with fabric.0

i know for a fact, that nail polish remover works on a whiteboard when it has a permenant marker pen on it.
there's also a special thinner used on car body work paint that gets rid of perminant marker staing on anysurface, but im not sure about material,
its called cellulose thinner and you'll find it in your local halfords store, but its very strong and i woulds resort it to the last option.

Hairspray is good to remove it from hard surfaces. For other surfaces like fabric and 2 year olds (yes really!) try surgical spirit/rubbing alcohol. Do a patch test first on the fabric. You could try the hairspray on the fabric - the solvent in it tends to make it run, so be careful.0
