Just wondered if the British arm of Santander (and my ISA!) will be OK if Spain asks for a bailout?

The UK arm of Santander is ring-fenced off from the Spanish arm, so they can't ask for money from the UK subsidiary and we can't ask them.
(So yes, your ISA would be safe ;-)0 -
It is indeed safe - As long as you don't want to withdraw less than £30 for the counter OKDavid
£1 of debt is too much for me!0 -
Yes it is protected under UK banking laws aslong as you have £85,000 or less in Santander you will get it back0
