easiest bank to get overdraft with ..

hi guys

my girlfriends been struggling a bit with money lately and now her bank are goign to take away her £600 overdraft on 1st Feb. I dont think her credit rating will be sufficient (presumably this is taken into account) to open a new bank account with that sort of overdraft.

I want to there for open one up and let her use it.

Question is, what bank will give me that sort of overdraft, hopefully free for a while too?
Anyone help!!!???

While you sound like an incredibly good friend to even think about doing this, you are the one who will be responsible for the debt. What if she can't or doesn't pay it back?

Are you prepared to take the fiancial loss and the almost inevitable breakdown of your friendship?

We need information on your circumstances as well. What about your existing bank? They know you best. If not any other bank may give you an overdraft based on your circumstances, AL is 0% for a year.

More importantly are you prepared to become 100% responsible for your girlfriends debt whatever happens? The debt will be yours and yours solely.

I am fully prepared to take on sole responsibility of the debt until she is sorted.

I am currently with hsbc, but am claiming for my old bank charges so maybe not the best way to go! Does anyone know where I can see information on banks and their rates comparitively?
