I have been getting 6 soups, 2 of each flavour and 3 boxes cereal. I think thats a reasonable amount to get each time I pop in which is often. Never seen an empty shelf of the soup or cereal so feel others are getting a fair amount too. Just dont see the point in getting larger amounts and risk someone saying you cant have it.

Having said that I'm getting a bit bored of the coupon police now, lets just get on with it we cant change what others do.

10 coupons a day is hardly extreme, two trolleys full free tooth brushes maybe lol

OK , but to ME its extreme , just my opinion! ;)
  • Some people will always do more than me because I am quite a small fish, I would never use as many coupons as most people but I am happy with what I do use so I don't let others bother me.

When I use coupons, I tend to use no more than four at a time, but I tried the Ocean spray ones in sainsburys and they took five in one go making ocean spray just 15p each at the moment, I find Morrisons are very anti coupon, even if it is just the one the cashiers inspect it for ages there is one male trout in my local who insists on calling for a supervisor for just one coupon, that holds the queues up then you get dirty looks and big over the top sighs from the people behind you, however I now look at these situations as a challange so I stand there smiling nicely and show them that Im happy to wait while they Humm and hahh and eventually admit defeat and cough up!!!

Maybe they've gone up today? :(. I knew about the coupons last week , but not that I could get it for free from Morrison's so I've not managed to [STRIKE]buy [/STRIKE] get any yet. That would be sad if they are no longer on offer.

Got 6 today in Morrisons. (I thought that was a reasonable amount for someone with 3 kids who doesn't go to morrisons often). The coupons didn't scan even when the barcode was typed in so the SA called over a supervisor who checked the date and then entered it manually. May have helped that they were busy and there was a queue, I had expected to be refused because they didn't scan.
Be warned, the Chiili and Garlic Dellagio one is VERY spicy.

Personally im not surprised you got bother with ten of the jars it's the kind of thing checkout operators are trained to look for even back in the day when I was 18 and worked in Asda if I was on a till I was told no more than 3 coupons per shop reason being we used to have a certain number of ethnic minority families who would roll out a wadge of them and attempt to pay for their entire shop of several hundred £'s with them they were always originals and all that (no internet as such back then just AOL and Compuserve with a few sites on t'internet) but because of these families thems the rules

So I can see it from both sides to be fair, i'd be concerned about being refused on the grounds stated though as they're indirectly accusing you of being naughty (please don't mention fraud it's not and if they suspected you of that the police would have been called)

So Asda put a rule in place because of us ethnics? Might contact customer service and ask if the money of an ethnic is good enough if clearly we cause such a problem that policies get put in place to stop us using vouchers.

careful what you say rich, the last thread with a heated racism debate got deleted

personally not sure why it is people always use race to describe non white races but not vice versa, if it was a caucasion community abusing the voucher no-one would think to describe them as the "certain number of white families abusing the coupons" . I'm not making a mountain out of a molehill but some people do get offended at this sort of comment and several times in the last few days there has been an indirect link made between being of ethnic minority and being greedy:mad:

I haven't even got ONE yet either! lol

Doubt I'll even bother as they have gone up now , love Sacla as well , but too busy etc to schedule a trip especially for a jar or two so could grab a jar for a pound when passing Sainsburys tomorrow but seems a bit pricey to be a bargain for me!!! ;)
