canon A430 Digital camera

I am thinking of buying one of these cameras to take on my holidays.

The best price I can get is £77 at Amazon.

Is this the best price and does anyone have an opinion on the camera.

ok for the price gets good reviews but you will need a memory card (i think it only comes with a 16 MB card).

I dont own this camera but generally all the canon "A" series cameras get good reviews.

If you google A43o review you will get several review sites to look at.
I think you can get a refurbished one on Amazon for £66

Recently purchased A420 for Mum at Xmas, and it is very good.

Takes excellent photos for the money, and prints direct small HP photoprinter.

I have a Canon 10D and cannot see a lot of difference between the A420 at 4 megapixel and the 10D at 6.3mp.

Canons are fantastic cameras in terms of picture quality, in my opinion the best in this price range but the only problem is shutter lag
