is the green light coming on when you put the disk in ?
if using Xp or Me then use system restore to go back to a day when you know it last worked

got to my computer and double click the cd icon0

tried the system restore with no avail, the green light is constantly on the red light just flikers abit then goes off!!!!
anymors ideas anyone

Go into Control panel,system,hardware devices,have a look to see if you have a yellow explanation mark next to your cd drive,if you have uninstall the driver,and boot back up again,Windows ,will install the driver again for you0

or rather what is meant to be on the CD.
could be blank, have seen people do it before,

As above, is it all CD's or just one in particular?
If it's a music CD it may be protected in a way that won't allow play on the computer.Dave. :wave:0
