Hi guys
Need some help creating a web menu horizontal navigation.
Created one yesterday using Milonic but you have to pay to remove their link (it said FREE).
Also I noticed using this you get the IE problem of blocking active content
However my friends sites at https://www.waltoncasualsfc.co.uk doesn't get this.
Anyway can someone give me some advice where to get a good dhtml menu creator etc.
Needs to be horizontal with dropdown menu and fit into an existing menu bar across the top half of page.
Thanks

use the generator then right click on the page, select view source and cut out the code that adds the generators link.
If you post the page source I, or someone can remove the link for you.
Failing that go to the W3C website and their should be a tutorial on how to creating navigation bars.Scottish proverb - "Never drink whisky with water and never drink water without whisky"0 -
Code in general its always better to learn how to do this yourself, then if you ever have a problem (doing it yourself or using a tool/prog) you'll be able to find a soloution far far easier.0

Dropdown menus can be done in pure XHTML with CSS.
Have a look at http://css.maxdesign.com.au/index.htm .0 -
believe it should just be the same code. could well be wrong though.Scottish proverb - "Never drink whisky with water and never drink water without whisky"0

As far as I know, DHTML is a collection of (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
You don't need Javascript to make a dropdown menu as the link I posted above illustrates so why bother slowing down your page and possibly excluding some users ?0 -
Thanks for your help guys
Realistically I'd really like to use the DHTML menu one but am a bit concerned with the IE security thing that comes up - maybe it's just my work laptop dunno.
Anyway if someone will help and look at the code pls pm me with ure email and I will send it over in a zip file
Cheers
