DS Star Wars Lego II - how do you do multi?

DS bought lego star wars 2 for his nintendo DS, it has the symbol on the back for download play ( so that you only need 1 cartridge for 2 different macines to play). But for the life of me we cannot get it to work, ready to throw it out the window!!!:mad: :mad:

ANy hits or tips anyone please!!!

Should be a multi-player option go into that and find a download play option set it up then start it, it should look for other DS consoles at this point start up the other DS press on Download Play and when it finds the game connect it and authorise the new player on the console with the cartridge.

that usually how it goes, though refer to the instruction manual for more details.
