a bit lost now

ok so i'd sent off my ppi letters to Lloyds and have had one refusal back,

i thought i had a second letter saved to use but i think i've lost it so am puzzled as to next step, FOS right?

  • If they have stated in their letter that its their final response and also provided details on how to speak to the FOS then yes they are your last resort.

    Hi

    Sometimes Lloyds will relook into your case on consideration if you have further details to give them, you can ask them to do so by giving them a further 14 days, and if you hear nothing by then or if they do not change the decision complain to the FOS.

  • thank you, they have put a line that "in the event you are unhappy with my decision.... FOS...."

    guess that'll be next step then,

    find it funny, i complained mainly on the grounds of being told i wouldn't get a loan without the ppi so how on earth do they think that the "salesperson" would have actually put that in writing!

    I would tell them you don't think the sale adviser was at all experienced in selling the PPI, because if he or she was then they would have explained how the policy works and given you the option of choosing the product, but you were told no loan if no ppi.
    You will get there, fingers crossed.;)

  • mini update - email sent, complaining not only re the decision but also that they couldn't even check my records and addressed it to miss when i've been Mrs for over 3 years now....
