Hi I'm looking to get into couponing as I'm currently on maternity leave and trying to save the family money. Can anyone give me tips or advice to get started. Am I best trying to start off gathering coupons then trying to match them up with deals and offers? I've also noticed the coupon thread discussion new coupons and noticed that a lot of them are FB coupons but I don't use FB :-(. Can anyone offer some tips to enable me to get started?

    Thanks

Did you notice when the offer ends? Their offers usually end on a Sunday .

Hi again, I was in Morrisons yesterday and checked. The offer (£1.99) ends on the 9th June :)

I saw in ebay vouchers for £5 off for Lindt, but I think that they are downloaded from internet. In some auctions they are white and in some are blue.
If I buy them will I be able to use them? Have you seen the site from where they have downloaded them?

Thanks for the advice. At present I've not got a printer. Was going to invest in one but DH wonders if its worth the cost plus ink replacement costs. Can anyone advise if it is worth it for the good deals to be had?

    Thanks

These sound like forgeries - probably copies of a £5 voucher sent to a customer by the company.

Do not buy as you will not be able to use and if you attempt to, you could be prosecuted by the store for attempted fraud.

Sorry with the bad news but if a deal sounds too good to be true, it more than likely is -old saying but still true today.

I bought a cheap one for this purpose and paid for it with the money I saved so yes it is worth it.

With some of the printable coupons, you can actually ask for the coupon to be sent to you so no cost.

The plus side of having your own printer is that sometimes you can print 2 copies and if they are a pdf you could print as many as you want.

If you look at the following thread, there is lots of information on all things to do with moc & printing - just work your way through it slowly.

    Hi.
I'm looking for information on how to use / spend my coupons.

I have been downloading them (Starting this month) and now have a healthy amount to hit the shops with.

    * Can i use them on items that currently on offer in store? IE: Buy 2 for £2 or bogof.?

    * Can i use more than one coupon per transaction? I've read on some of the printed coupons that you can only use one coupon per transaction.

Apart from MSE, SSM, hotukdeals, Is there anywhere else i can look for decent coupons?

    Many thanks in advance. :)
