Got a L'oreal men expert shave gel for my OH today with the £1.50 insiders coupon. It's on offer at Boots for £1.52 so I paid just 2p :)
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

I've just been thinking about the coupon limit in A's. I've reached it a couple of times and they've got an over-ride. I didn't count how many I'd used though. Does anyone know the limit? x

Just to let you know, I've finally had a response from Asda after being mega-trouted in July. I tried telephone calls to CS, emails to CS and sending a letter in the post, all without any reply. I only got a response from emailing the CEO so I recommend this remedy from the outset to anyone else who has any problems. I've now got the magic letter that Blue recommended, stating that Asda accept all manufacturers' coupons. And I'm also getting a £10 gift card for my troubles. With the reassurance of having the letter in my handbag and my nerves steeled for a confrontation, I ventured into the store again and all the staff I encountered were delightful and I experienced no problems using coupons.

I asked the SA in A's yesterday and he thinks it's 8.

Good morning so far :) Got a free bottle of diet coke at Boot's with the voucher, a free pack of Walkers deep ridge crisps at Premier with their voucher, 3 packs of kleenex balsam with the vouchers from the Huggies starter kits. Off to A's tonight for two more starter kits and wipes (maybe 4 if my Dad will let me cut the vouchers out in the car!) and some McCains roasties for 50p a pack :) Told my friend I would get her 10 packs of nappies for her baba. Got 7 so far. Thinking of doing it a few more times and donating the nappies to the local hospital :)

    Hi
My store has not had them either for a while however there is a copy of the Tesco Booklet in todays Scottish Sun not sure if its in the one down south

    HTH

I contacted Tesco to complain that 3 of my local stores - All large stores never have the price drop coupons and they sent me the following:

Just to let you know, we no longer give these out in our stores, and instead the decision has been made to have them available in major national newspapers. We are still in process of implementing this change and so the brochures will be available in these magazines in about 2 weeks, and it is very likely that they will have coupons in them once again.

They sent me this on 17th August!

thanks so we assume they are not putting in stores as people used them and presuably as many made a number of shops in the 1 or 2 week period did so a number of times,
great way of customers getting the benifit,
so do not buy your paper in Mr T before you go there as you may wellcome home with the money off shrinked wraped in you magazine,

how long before they stop giving out the magazine in the papers in Tesco!

It probably will happen. When they had the mags in store the only only people who saw them were people who went into tesco anyway. Putting them in papers/magazines means people who don't normally shop in tesco will see them too, and maybe go to tesco to take advantage of the coupons.

There will be no point in putting them in papers/mags in tesco, so they will stop doing it.
  • Just had a lovely mega coupon shop at Tesco earlier, there were some disappointments they had none of the 72 wash fairy non bio for £10 and none of the small new £1 lenor pures as MyS said they should, and shock horror they were out of the Green's Thomas cake mix so my second eldest was very disappointed, also the febreeze coupon expired on the 31st of August even though I printed it on September 1st I think, no wonder they pulled it from the SSM site a day or so ago. I only realised when it wouldn't scan asked to look at it and was really embarassed. OH and I did a transaction each, then went and put the first lot of shopping in the cab and we did 4 altogether. Original total according to MyS was £339.14, coupons were £68, and after those and offers the final total was, drum roll please, a mere £166.19 which according to the percentage calculator app on OH's phone is exactly 50% off :T All legit and just down to clever planning. I did have a bit of a job fitting all the stuff in my airing cupboard but I managed it aside from one washing up liquid, a shampoo and conditioner and a shower gel. It really is like a tardis in there! xx
