.....and £23 odd of assorted apgs (already redeemed in Asda). I will miss that so much, being able to use apgs in both Asda and Tesco. ...

So you print off two copies of your Asda APG and use on in Asda and one in Tesco????????

Or do you print off one copy of your APG to use in Asda with the receipt and multiple ones to use in Tesco???

They have re-programmed the tills too soon to make sure its all done by Monday. HQ know about this (and so do the more 'savvy' staff) the official line is that the coupons be put through as a non scan. Certainly worth a moan to HQ - you were diddled out of using a perfectly good coupon in accordance with current policy! Give them Hell.

Hi mhoc, if I had an apg for say £3.36 I would use it in Asda. Regardless of whether or not Asda sign the receipt I would then use a second one in Tesco, usually the same morning. on entering my asda details online I would always ask it to print 2 so I had one ready in my coupon wallet (Asda) with receipt and one without in my coupon wallet (Tesco) that I would then paper clip in the car to receipt handed back at Asda. Once used in Asda first then Tesco I am happy for Tesco to keep my receipt. Am I waffling? Sorry.

I have a couple of favourite SA's that I either knew wouldn't sign the receipt in A or wouldn't check if it was signed in T.

I did not mean to imply that I used loads without receipts, OMG, I can just imagine that old argument starting again.

I always just print 2, use one in A and the other in T.

As from Monday it will be just A. Hey ho, will have to lurk longer to womble. Winter coming, my Orinoco suit will keep me warm.

    Hi everyone

I'm wondering if the £5 at M&S that was in the Daily Mail earlier this week would be a conditional spend voucher accepted by Tesco? Until they stop accepting them after this weekend obviously! Can I combine it with the one from the Sun today?

yes, you should be able to, but people are reporting, some stores tills have already been reprogrammed for monday, so not accepting, but they should still be putting them through manually.

Just a quick question, what is this 'Black Friday' that I have heard mention of? Think it referrs to 2nd Oct 2009, I could be wrong though.

yes it is, the day Martin went on TV and told everyone that Tesco accepted all coupons even if you hadn't bought product as long as they stocked it.
