Mickey I believe you can post pictures by hosting them on your Facebook or somewhere like photo bucket then using the image icon when writing your message to insert the pictures into your message. I wish I'd taken pics of everything out on the floor now but just wanted to get it sorted quickly, did take a couple of 'after' pics though xx

Am new to this so started a new post elsewhere and was advised to look at this thread and I am gob smacked !

I would love to be able to coupon Like some of the peope on here and stash stuff.

I have a £10.00 off when you spend £30.00 at Tesco so thought I might see if I can give it a go with this £10.00 head start but I really do not know where to look for coupons although I have printed a few (crushelle 50p, philli 50p,tesco£1 butter, 30p pilgrims choice and 50p off plenty but thats about it) How I turn these into a stash whilst still spending less I cannot quite work out.

I think people on here could teach couponing as a degree subject and I do not even have a gcse any help you can give to an uneducated couponing beginner would be greatfully received.:beer:

To cut a long story short....

there is another thread with all the printables on there, on the first page of that thread there is also a 'shopping list' with items on offer (or cheap to start with) AND that you can use current coupons for, it is updated every week. Most coupons are not worth using on their own but in conjunction with items on that list you can save a lot. There is a bit of a 'drought' when it comes to PDF coupons at the moment, and the PDF coupons are the ones you can really save with as they tend to be quite vague with regard to varieties and sizes and/or have a very long expiry date, plus you can print as many of them as you like. Most of my stashed laundry products were comfort or persil non-bio and I got them with a now expired PDF coupon that had two parts on it, £1 off persil non-bio, 75p off comfort; others made by proctor and gamble I got with coupons from the Supersavvyme Mission control app on facebook. The Mission control ones are particularly good because they are very open-ended as to what they can be used on, rather than only being allowed to be used on specific varieties and sizes xx

Remind me to never, ever, EVER select 'Sainsburys' for SSM coupons again :mad: went today to use up my last 3 each of fairy, febreeze, ambi pur or flash and lenor, ariel, bold and fairy non-bio from Mission control as the expiry date on them is the 18th, usual nice SA was not there-think she must've paid off whatever it was she needed to work overtime to pay off as she is barely in these days. At every till it looked like trout alert or at the very least newbie staff who had no idea how to scan coupons, so after considering just walking out without buying anything because I could see trouble on the horizon, I decided to go to customer services and ask them to put it through in 3 transactions so as not to delay other customers, as even the CS manager in local S branches can't seem to override the one couponstar of each type per transaction thing, youngish guy came along as no-one was on CS, looked at my coupons suspiciously and tried to say the reason that setting is on the till is because the manufacturers have told S that these coupons are only one per person (lies!), then he tried to scan the first two and they wouldn't scan, now I know the fairy etc one has problems scanning, but the lenor etc one never did, he said 'sorry I can only scan these two because there is something clearly wrong with these coupons and you're clearly not meant to use more than one of each' I said 'well I come in here a lot have used others of these coupons and had no problem and as you can see on them it says ANY of these particular products and no-where does it say one per customer or even per transaction on them', he then tried to say 'well you must have used the originals of these duplicates in here before and they are now blocked from the system', I was getting pretty :mad: by now, I came to CS specifically so as not to get this kind of treatment and also so as not to delay or annoy their other customers and I was out and out being accused of fraud. And not for the first time in Sainsburys either. If I was going to do anything dodgy surely I'd go and pick on one of the newbies and not somewhere where I'd be found out in a jiffy? I said if they are duplicates then how come all of these have different barcodes, he then shut up pronto and put the rest through in two manual transactions; but no apology, nothing. Have done a big rant on S facebook page and SSM as well. Idiots. :mad:

Sorry to hear of your bad experiance @ S, but thanks for sharing as will not try Sainsburys now with coupons!

I would like to have a rant about ssm mission control, does anyone no why i cannot see my rewards? i have won several stickers but can't see them as rewards? Also can anyone tell me how to get around the limit reached problem when i have only redeemed around 9 rewards? I've tried different printers & friends FB? I have tried to look back through posts but there are so many and can't find the answer - Thankyou In advance if anyone could advice!!!

Thanks I have calmed down now but it is only Sainsburys where their staff seem to be uber-paranoid and their till system is set up to reject so many coupons for no reason.

Ihopeso there is a massive problem on SSM MC atm with stickers being issued but no reward becoming available alongside that; I was told by their facebook peeps to post a screenshot of the stickers I have on their facebook wall and also to email their customer service people on

picking the relevant options from the drop down menu. For 'product' scroll down until you get 'supersavvyme' and in the 'category' one select 'website' or 'other'. Inthe blank space for product code write your problem as a subject. Apparently when you get the sticker but no reward come up, when they look at your account on the system it doesn't show you as having received said sticker. So as far as they are concerned all your stickers and rewards are as they should be and they are none the wiser unless you tell them. I have had this problem with two stickers and am still waiting for tech support to get back to me though they said it has been forwarded to the relevant department, they said there is some way of them giving the rewards out manually if needed. I guess they would send you a specific url for money off coupons if that was the reward or ask for your details if it was a love2shop voucher or something. Since this is affecting so many people now I hope there is some kind of software fix they can apply to sort it out completely as it is a big nuisance xx

Thanks Dasophster for the reply, will do that! Any other ideas on the printer limit reached? When i havn't tried to print off loads! It just will not let me on mine or mums printer! Thankyou again!

with regards to mission control and not seeing your rewards
i had the same problem when using FB on IE with not seeing rewards/posts & stickers just bounced back to posts page

you need to change browser and use firefox or google chrome and then log in to FB using that browser

this may also solve print limit reached issue too
