oh and I found some really old brasso where the tin had gone rusty but it still worked well enough to get most of the rust off my chrome bathroom fittings (not my choice-silly housing association always love to put chrome stuff in despite its rustability) xx0

Its quite astounding how much stuff is in there! I have counted at least 15 bottles of comfort pure, possibly there are more but thats just a quick count, and a similar number of lenor, 3 big boxes of washing powder, 8 bottles of various sizes of persil non bio including at least 4 of the 85 wash ones, 4 bottles of persil bio, 6 ariel stain remover 1kg, about 15 smallish bottles of miscellanious own brand and bold or ariel gel/concentrated liquid, fifteen approx washing up liquids, 4 lots of H&S shampoo and conditioner, 2 lots of herbal essences shampoo and conditioner and 1 2-in-1 version, several mini bottles of pantene, about 15 toothpastes, various flash liquids and sprays, various cif sprays and 25 toilet rolls (cushelle and velvet-did have 40+ but kids go through it like no tomorrow), all bought since I really started using coupons properly in January yet our monthly grocery bill has still gone down by over 60%. I will eventually use all this stuff as we're a family of 6 but it may take about 5 years
If I don't I am sure the in laws will appreciate taking some of it off my hands

Well done d what an amazing stash. My bathroom is now full of oral b and herbal essences, samples off the freebies board etc, when my mum visited she asked how many ppl lived here couldnt believe the amount of toiletries we have stockpiled for the 2 of us!
Quick question about ssm mission control, all my l2s vouchers have moved from processing to redeemed: does that mean they are in the mail???!! Anyone actually received yet?0 -
mickey p: with sainsbury's they said they will only allow one safecoupon per transaction at my branch, I bought the stuff anyway then took coupons and items to CS got the cash value back no problems.
It only accepted 4 out of 5 ssm coupons on the last tesco shop but toddled off to CS and got £1 back so free fairy liquid (apple and lime was £1 in sheffield Ts). The CS guy said sometimes cashiers scan the wrong barcode (there are 2 on safecoupons) so it might be worth pointing that out to any trouts if there's a problem!0 -

kids mean I cannot keep any of it in the bathroom, otherwise I'd probably be able to store a lot more, I have at least 10 oral bs in a basket in my cupboard, all of them costing either 24p or 29pMy dad always asks me for couponing tips but then I think he gets a bit bored and never actually does any couponing.
SSM mission control they said if it says redeemed then they will be delivered within 28 days, apparently SSM have got the voucher issuing companies to send them directly so I don't think SSM themselves know what time frame they are looking at other than within 28 days xx0 -

OH (who is allowed to coupon again) nearly got trouted in tesco earlier; the SA wouldn't even try and scan the coupons, she was arguing that 'any ariel product' on the 'olympic' SSM coupons somehow didn't apply to the ariel actilift gel and that 'any ariel stain remover product' somehow didn't apply to the ariel stain remover gel  she called the manager over hoping to get him to agree and the manager told her to stop wasting OHs time and scan the coupons because 'any' really does mean any. Otherwise I do find the tills in tesco can sometimes go a bit doolally and throw up all kinds of random error messages with safe coupons in particular, even if they do scan the righht barcode. In Sainsburys I just do two transactions instead but it means you lose out on those 'get 2 for £x.xx' type offers as you cannot use two coupons on them. I am going to write to S head office regarding why they have this restriction in place only for safe coupons (other personalised coupons you can use several in one transaction, I've checked); and no other major supermarket has the same nonsense setting on their tills so why does Mr S? xx

Nah I don't think any stash would faze me; I'd have a bigger stash if only we had the storage space
I have realised though that my washing powder/liquid/gel to fabric conditioner ratio is seriously out of kilter-will have to do something about that
