  • Hi guys, I purchased some Baylis and Harding product last week from thesquirescompany.co.uk and they've now offered ne 25% off my next purchase... Purchase, I've used this code twice now, if you like Baylis and Harding hand wash - use this code: TSC25

    Enjoy, Jess

Does anyone else think the coupons have really dried up. I remember coming on here a year and a half ago and for a good year and a bit, I saved an absolute fortune, must have been hundreds. We were getting free stuff or things that we only paid pennies for, but they just don't seem to be around anymore. :(

I definitely agree with the above comment.

I remember making exactly the same comment here few times before and always after few days/weeks everything got back to normal so I guess we'll just have to wait :)

    Just thought I'd share this:

Went to Sa1nsburys today and used the suprsavvyme coupons:

    2x fairy platinum - 2 for £2
    2x fairy aloe vera 2 for £2
2x bold gel - on offer at £4 each
2x fairy platinum dishwasher tablets 2 for £8

    so £20 total shop
used a £2 off of £20 i received the other day
then the vouchers from the site:
    2x £1.50 for Dishwasher tabs
4x 50p for washing up liquid
2x £1 for the bold Gel

all in all after vouchers, came to £11 at the till, but printed off a brand match which i wasn't expecting; for £3.

So effectively it cost me £8 pounds for the lot!

I feel the same. There are definitely fewer PDF coupons about, they are virtually non-existent. Also with unilever VIP gone and the SSM tip thing on FB no longer giving out coupons that's another source of coupons diminished. I think coupon fraud has definitely harmed couponing in general, fewer companies are issuing the coupons and stores are being more selective in accepting them. Last year I saved well over £1000 just from printable coupons, store newsletter/magazine coupons, and coupons/vouchers I won from doing competitions or surveys for companies not taking into consideration special offers etc. This year I haven't saved even £75 and its already April. Xx

And returning to the Waitrose not accepting printable coupons anymore or the shell club Waitrose vouchers, I finally got one £5 voucher for the wasted printable coupons they wouldn't let me use and a £10 one separately for the shell voucher not scanning. The shell voucher was only for £4.50 but I think they sent £10 as it took then quite a while to respond to that one. So if you have tried to use coupons in Waitrose and had them refused its worth complaining xx

I only started using coupons one year ago and found it brilliant and I saved quite a lot of cash so I find it quite disappointing that there are so few coupons about at the moment
