reclaiming Car finance ppi

Hi All

I'm pretty new to this and completely confused, i got car finance though a ford dealership in 2004 and the agreement was with FCE Bank. I paid PPI for 3 years as i was told due to my job type i would need it to be able to get the finance. Do i have a leg to stand on in reclaiming the mis sold PPI and if so how do i go about it...i still have the original hire purchase agreement which includes the Payment Protection Plan agreement. Who do i contact now as i did try going to a PPI claim company who said they wouldnt touch anything to do with HP as it is very diffciult to reclaim....HELP SO CONFUSED!!!!:mad:

Hi there & welcome

It should have been optional and you should have been given the choice, and not pressurised to have taken out the policy.

To make a reclaim you pursue the ones who sold and set up the account by completing the reclaim questionnaire as on step 3 below, remember to keep copies for yourself as well, good luck.

Thanks so much for your response, i just find it all so confusing?!?!? do i have to send that to the dealership then?? this is all so confusing ha ha
