Next VIP Mid Season Sale is coming

Apologies if this has already been mentioned.

Just received an email from Next apologising that they could not fulfil my recent order. By way of apology, they want to put me first in line for the VIP Mid Season Sale and to look out for my VIP invitation email in my inbox early next week (no specific day given).

So keep an eye out for a potential invite from Monday.

I'm refusing to pay my current bill in full seeing as they billed me for £250 that I haven't even got yet and £55 that was returned the week before my statement came out. I've made a partial payment but won't qualify for a VIP slot as they have said before you have to be up to date with payments. Could be wrong but seeing as they have charged me for something I ordered in the last sale 2 months ago and have "misplaced it" (a bed of all things) and I've been a more than a bit annoyed on the phone with them I think they'll cross me off their VIP list with a really big pen

I got same email too! Can't see me ordering much if anything as tbh the quality has gone down and the prices have rocketed....

Yep I got this too. Wonder if I can postpone it for the Xmas sale!!!

Would rather have had the item I ordered in the summer sale but never mind!

I got that email too. Shoe*gal have you tried contacting them on their facebook page, whenever i had a problem, i got them to pm me, i explained my problem and it got resolved straight away. I had been chasing it with next for over 6 weeks.

Thanks for the Facebook idea - funnily enough the only sensible answer I've had from them was from the Next helper on there. Still waiting on the bed though. It's a good job I didn't get rid of the old one to get ready for it coming.

I wonder if they'll sort out the other issue? Being billed for something you returned is annoying - you either pay for stuff you haven't got or pay interest because you owe them money. Grrr.

Does anyone know the date when invites start being sent out?

Was quite surpsrised as Ive complained so much due to a load of problems since the VIP - items missing, a parcel of 14 items going missing, a pair of chairs I ordered with only one chair arriving and being told I ordered one chair (who orders one chair??) which then went out of stock, wrong descriptions and codes in directory resulting in wrong items sent, now my 5 week items not arriving which I ordered in July.


Even had some pyjamas arrive yesterday with no bottoms (meaning have to complain again and return item)

Since July they've had to reimburse me, give me credit, next vouchers, allowed me to order a load of items from full season range at half price.

Is the VIP really worth it cuz Ive returned loads of items due to poor quality and fit and really was unhappy with the last sale and this has never happened before.

I had the very same e-mail yesterday.... didn't receive 2x items however probably not a bad thing as I spent enough anyway.

Be interesting to see if there's much to be interested in as they update the offers page every day anyway...
