Sometimes you see posts where it says compatibles are cheaper but do not last as long, which seems odd when most compatibles have twice as much ink

Haven't really got anything to compare them to.
Don't use original inks, other than the testers that
come with new printers, and only ever used that
eBay seller for my compatibles.
I don't print an awful lot so can't really say they do
a certain amount of pages, but they do seem to last
longer then some I once got from buytec which had
less ink in them.
