Paypal HRMC need some help of you.

At the moment I am looking for some help in internet.

I will need to tell my story first to get some advice. In last year I start buying and selling for profit items on ebay after 3months running my home ebay business. I went to taxassist.co.uk to help me with declare my income. It was easy because I was buying stuff for resell using paypal and all my sales was recorded on paypal so in April 2011 I have paid tax for 2010 year. So new year 2011 came in and things are straight forward but my accountant strongly recommended me to open bank business account and put all my income in there which I did.

Until last week !

My ebay+paypal account has been suspended and I have been inform form paypal they no longer want provide their service to me.
I am frustrated now about this because everything was straight forward with paypal. And now I don't have a 6years old ebay account and paypal don't want me to use him.

So there is my question now If I will open ebay+paypal account on my mother and I will connect it in to my bank business account and declare my income from it.
It will be OK for HRMC ?

or

My mother will have to register as self assessment as well and pay tax twice ?

I am really looking forward to get any informations about this because Ebay was my monthly income.

because eBay will shut that account down
you cannot trade under a ban
wouldnt it be better to address the ban reasons

Ebay has suspend my account because they believe I was selling items without invoices and if they don't have a invoices they are doggy items so I am high risk seller I have tried speak with them but they don't speak with me any more. I was Top Seller with Silver performance.

Any more advice?

I agree with the OP that Ebay and paypal are more or less a law unto themselves, and that their procedures for getting back with them are outrageous. It seems to me this is akin to a situation I was in when about 80 online bookmakers limited me to 5 pound maximum bets on all sports. Not many people realise this, but when you log in to an online bookmaker they send out - or sent out, this was about 2003 or 2004 - a little program which picks up your I.P. address amongst other things.

So in order to open up an account in someone else's name to bet under you had to do several things:

1. Find someone not at your address who would let you - £500 one-off fee did the trick for me.
2. Use a roaming IP address or ideally a totally new e-mail provider. Some folk in our betting team went so far as to buy a new computer.
3. Use a little program someone in our team with an I.T. degree had written to intercept the bookie feeler program and ping it back with information which would not make it suspect you were a multiple user.

I suspect some or all of these, plus any additional stuff in the last 7 years, will be needed to fool e-bay.

LOL. I love this!

Looks like the OP is asking for a solution to an impossible problem. I think the options are, jump through the hoops for Ebay and PP, or find somewhere else to sell your online goods.

In any case, this doesn't really have anything to do with tax. Sign up under your Mum's name if you want to risk it. If it works, it's not your Mum's income, it's still yours.

For questions about resolving the Ebay/PP issue, go to another forum for that.
