Still makes more sense than Hamish's novel! :cool:0 -
Looks like I need to break it down into Graham sized chunks.

and for me please Hamish. Some of what you post might be interesting but I took one look and thought "No thanks"0 -
No worries..... A Jonny Bravo sized chunk coming right up as well.
IN fact, I think I'll split this into multiple threads to satisfy the "short attention span" brigade then ask for this one to be deleted.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Don't delete this one. It has one of Graham's funniest "illiterations" on.

A fully qualified plumber i know can no longer afford to house himself due to the low wage he was getting.
He cannot house himself because house prices and household bills far exceed his wage.
You really do know some utterly sh*t tradesmen. Can any of them afford to keep themselves afloat? We've had your joiner mate on minimum wage, the "lads" on site who are all planning to move abroad and now the fully qualified plumber who has to go homeless.
My mortgage and bills total around £900 a month. If your plumber is earning less than that I'm not sure how fully qualified he really is.0 -

Here comes the backup, sorry mate it must be my mistake and everybody i see on site is actually rolling in it. That must be why lads keep walking off site, they must be going shopping for ipods and stuff.
Yes we are all 5hitty tradesman and havent got a clue what we are doing day in day out at work whilst being scrutinized by a clerk of works, bad job = no wages.
Just out of curiosity how much do you think the average sub contractor joiner is currently earning per hour in the north west ? maybe you know one joiner whos usual customers have still got money to pay for work done, good luck to the fella, wish all my customers were not skint and now on the dole so then i wouldnt have to pi55 about on building sites for a joke wage.0 -

Certainly looks that way.
That or you just like to make it up.
Actually, I'm going for the latter because nobody* is daft enough to believe the ridiculous stories you tell.
