Anyone know were I could get a small loan from?

Ratesetter monthly loans have set-up costs built in to the loan on a monthly basis (£5/month or so), and very low interest rates, excellent deal for fast re-payers if you can't get an o/d from your own bank - but if you can't get an overdraft you may not be eligible for one of their loans as you need to be low risk.0

Sounds like Provident territory to me.
Or the new bunch that were advertising on TV earlier "Pounds to pocket" (lovely name)... A payday lender that does up to £2,000 loans over 12 months. They seem pretty straightforward in their operation, with lower APRs than the standard PayDay mobs, but no doubt we will be seeing their name on this board shortly when people decide they don't want to pay them back.0 -

Surely people wouldn't do that?Space available for rent0 -
Do you have a credit union? If you save with them for a while they might be able to help, they offer smaller loan amounts than banks.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

But still you are completely unable to save up £500?
You're wasting everyones time on here. How many more times are you going to repeat the same question in different posts?0 -
is it something you want or something you need? If its something you need i would say to save up as it will be your best bet = no interest to pay and you'll feel more happier when you get whatever it is:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

The OP has posted on here that he wants a career development loan to do his GCSE 's - let's stop wasting any more time on this joker!0

As for GCSE's, qualifications are worth less now than they ever have been.
Just a thought.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
If you need the money to help you in obtaining your job then you should approach the social fund at your local job centre. Make an appointment to see them and given you have the right circumstances you should have no trouble obtaining the loan offset against any benafits you may be claiming (child tax credits, working tax credits, JSA, disability allowance ect, ect.)0
