    Hello :j
Thanks for starting the thread Perni
    ((Hugs)) to Welshwoofer :(

Bleurgh, stupid weather here today. One minute it has been peeing down with rain, the next minute bright sunshine. I put the washing out cos it looked ok and it got wetter  and went to walk to A!dis and got so wet, I had to come back and get the car  When I came out, it was hot and sunny again

Not much done today - why am I always so exhausted on Saturdays :( I always have high hopes of getting loads done, and then achieve very little :o

OH out today, at a game fair - hope he doesn't spend too much

    I have:

Sorted out electricity and gas meter readings for old and new providers (I have just changed) and paid British Gas now they have sent me an accurate bill. The estimated one was £69 higher than the correct one  As I am leaving them, I should imagine it would have been a right old hassle getting this back had I simply believed their estimated bill

Shopping at A!dis - got everything except a bottle of wine :D and bloomin' hay fever tablets which I had to get from Mr S. (Wine from Mr A is SCARY. I once tried to drink it ) Sadly, it didn't put me off for long :rotfl:

Made 2 tubs of tomato sauce from tomato mountain, and froze them

Got a big pot of soup on the go for supper (bacon bits, a chorizo end, lentils, tomatoes, and the veg out of the bottom of the fridge. Will add some broken pasta when nearly done, sprinkle with Mr A's excellent cheap parmesan, and call it minestrone :D

And that is about it :o

Pouring with rain again now. The dogs really ought to go out for a walk, but there is no way that little dog #1 will go while it is raining. I would have to carry her,and that is totally pointless :rotfl: I can't make her walk, she is very small, old, and excellent at looking like a RSPCA case at the best of times. The other dog doesn't seem keen either...

Forgot to say welcome back DNMS, and glad you had a nice holiday. Rather you than me on the moving front - I moved recently, and have vowed never to do so again

    Good morning!!!

    • Done my Couch to 5 K this am - still on week 1 (well it is week 1) and staying on week 1 next week which will be confusing!
    • more later
    Added later

    • been shopping with sister and did not have NSD, however resisted temptation of boots ( went back to shopw twice but decided no) ; did get shoes in sale and negotiated further reduction (not good at that usually)
    • OH cooking chicken and full works Sunday lunch for tea ; would normally have some left for tea tomorrow but with extra guests probably won't
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

    Morning all!

Well yesterday's NSD failed-ran out of freezer bags for the soup I made so ended up at Mr T's... Spent 2.74 on freezer bags, a bag of dried mixed fruit, an orange and a lemon, and came home and started my Christmas pudding vodka ready for Christmas-some will be presents, some will be for me!! Thankfully has everything else in cupboard so wasn't toooo bad cost wise. Then didn't want to waste the fruit (only needed the zest!) so made fairy cakes with the juice, but had no butter or eggs so back to the shops and another 2.38 spent there! Cakes are yummy though, so will go into my lunchboxes this week!

    Today I will:
    Check banks
    Check CC
    Check TCB
Do things on yesterday's list that I didn't do
Meet friend for lunch-park on side street, eat cheaply!
Take some cakes to boyfriend's work whilst in town to prevent me scoffing them all!
    Wash tupperware retrieved from work
    LSD!
    Stir xmas vodka
    20 mins crosstrainer
    Sparkle!

    Have a great day everyone!!

    Morning all!
Had a lovely evening catching up with an old friend and having a general putting the world to rights gossip! And the best thing was it was free apart from the cost of the petrol to get there. It absolutely chucked it down on my way home - quite scary driving on a motorway with no lights but went slowly and survived!

Got up earky today to watch the Welsh rugby match before I saw the score (recorded in on Skyplus as it was on at 4.30am:eek:), done a load of washing and walked the dog but other than that have done very little so far today.

My little list for the day...
    • Do some school work (about 2 hrs I think) done
    • Make a chick pea curry for tea and make extra for some tomorrow
    • Put clean sheets on the bed
    • Walk dog again (park next time I think) done
    • Get a book ready to post after selling it for £15 profit on amazon done
    • Check ebay done
    • Make packed lunch for tomorrow
    • Maybe clean inside of the car (half the park is in it from the dog) done
    • Watch a movie later from Skyplus
    • Put the dry washing away done
    • Get work clothes ready for the week
That's all for now - hope everyone has a good day.

WelshWoofer - I feel your pain after being woken up at 7.24 by the other half screaming at the television. Could I trouble you for your chick pea curry recipe please, sounds yum!

You could but you'd be sorely disappointed ! I'm cheating and making one with a jar of Sainsbugs sauce:rotfl: It will have extra onions, peppers, mushrooms and chickpeas in it but its very lazy I'm afraid.......must try harder!:o

very happy with my weekend efforts, almost done everything I wanted to and had a lovely time at the party.

Really big news - my dd has asked to move back in with us :T we're going to take it slowly (the old timers will know how difficult our relationship was a couple of years ago) we've agreed she will stay with us 3 or 4 nights a week and then if things continue to go well then we'll look to her moving in full time. Am so happy x
